Angela Boxwell – Littlefoot Bookkeeping Services
Business Accounting Basics was formed in 2004 by Angela Boxwell. Its original purpose was promoting a new bookkeeping business in the Reading area and offer free accounting advice. After building up the bookkeeping business, we moved in 2006 from Reading. This move meant that the original site was not required, but the accounting information on it was still useful and relevant, so we created an information website.
I started my career in accounts over 30 years ago, starting as a purchase ledger clerk. After lots of hard work and studying, I ran an accounting section of a million-pound company reporting to the group financial controller. While working, I studied in the evenings and passed qualifications in both A-level accounting and Association of Accounting Technicians AAT.
In 2000 I left my accounting position and started a family; we also started our own business in computer consultancy. I took on the role of Finance Director and dealt with all the day to day tasks of running a business. This business closed when my husband went back into full-time employment a few years later.
Business Accounting Basics – Bookkeeping
In 2012 I started my own bookkeeping business Littlefoot Bookkeeping Services in Warwickshire. I provide services to small businesses in Excel, Xero, Quickbooks, and Accounts Portal. My services include VAT, accounts preparation to year end, advice and setting up accounting software. I work closely with a couple of local accountants and can, therefore, get your accounts completed from start to finish, including submitting to companies house. I am a member in practice with the AAT.
If you have any questions about the website or require bookkeeping services, please email me.
